Why wasn't my refuse and/or recycling container collected?

Most likely it was due to one of the following reasons:

  • The containers were put out too late. Please have containers at the curb by 7 am of your collection day.
  • The containers were placed too close to each other or another object. Allow 5 feet of open space around containers.
  • Perhaps a parked car was too close.
  • Lid was open or the container was overfilled.

Please call the Public Works Department at 419-354-6227 for further assistance.
