Kati Thompson is a creative problem-solver who works with communities and organizations to achieve collaborative change and growth. As Executive Director, she leads BGED and is responsible for industry attraction, retention and expansion. Kati takes a wholistic approach in development to ensure an increased quality of life for all residents. With her passion for relationship-building along with strategic planning and partnerships, Bowling Green is poised for continued success.
With entrepreneurial and community development roles in her background, Kati brings a broad range of experience to BGED. She continues to own and operate Eden Fashion Boutique, a contemporary women’s clothing store in Downtown Bowling Green which opened in 2016. In addition, Kati, along with three other female entrepreneurs, created Firefly Nights – a nonprofit that hosts a four-part festival series in Downtown Bowling Green. Kati holds a BA in Marketing and a Masters of Organization Development from Bowling Green State University. In her free time, Kati enjoys spending time with her husband and six children, traveling anywhere warm, remodeling their home, and riding her Peloton.

Jamie Alt is a highly relational and community-minded advocate for Bowling Green serving as the Development Director with BGED. In this role Jamie coordinates process improvement and provides support to business partners looking to grow or expand their business in Bowling Green. Her attention to detail and project planning skills reflect the core values of BGED by fostering excellence and creativity among all stakeholders.
Through her previous roles within the construction industry, Jamie has developed a passion and an appreciation for the potential for economic growth and business development to transform a community.
Originally from Edon, Ohio, Jamie completed her bachelor's degree in Communications from BGSU. A twenty-year resident of BG, Jamie enjoys spending time with her husband and sons, baking, traveling to visit family and volunteering for various community organizations.
Email Lindsay Durham
Lindsay Durham is passionate about helping others, both in her own community and elsewhere. Using her peer-mediation experience, she enjoys helping others understand different perspectives than their own. She believes this kind of understanding, partnered with ardent kindness, is vital to enacting positive change in the world.
As Administrative Assistant, Lindsay views her duties as another way of helping her community at-large. She believes there is room for compassion in every conversation, no matter what it may be regarding. To Lindsay, there is no act of kindness too small.
Lindsay attended Bowling Green State University as a Sociology major with a Psychology minor. In her free time, she loves nature photography, reading, and creating surrealist collages. She is also a founding member of the nonprofit BRAVE. Lindsay enjoys living in the Historic District of Bowling Green with her partner of 6 years, Chris Douglas, and their cat, Big Fatty.
